Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian nationals possessing educational qualifications and age, as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty) and Navik(Domestic Branch) in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union. Candidate can apply to any one of the posts given below:-

Names of Posts:
1. Navik (General Duty)
2. Navik (Domestic Branch)(Cook & Steward)

Age Limit: Candidate should born between 01-02-1991 to 31-01-1995 for Navik (General Duty) Post and 01-04-1991 to 31-03-1995 for Navik (Domestic Branch) Post.
Educational Qualification:
Navik (General Duty): Candidates should possess 10+2 with 60% marks.
Navik (Domestic Branch): Matriculate with 60% marks.
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
How to Apply:  Candidates have to apply online through the website www.joincoastguard.org for Navik (GD) post on or before 30-06-2012 and in prescribed application format for Navik (DB) post on or before 09-07-2012.
